Just discovered Olivia Palermo’s blog and i really like it. The travel angle is something i relate to since i’m frequently flying. The access into the fashion shows make for great images and insight. Clearly this blog is serious about fashion! i admire Olivia’s style. Her outfits are styles that i would actually wear so it’s great to look at for inspiration. Her blog breaks down outfits down to the shoes!

Off to the Topshop show! My jacket is Armani, the floral pants and yellow blouse are from Topshop, and my belt is BCBG. The shoes are Mulberry and the bag is Meli Melo.

I just recently bought a floral blazer from Zara so seeing how Olivia put this outfit together gives me more ideas on how to pair prints this Spring. I might also need to stop into Topshop in Soho to check out their floral prints!

Actually, i have to thank Olivia Palermo for one of my favorite handbag purchases. After seeing a picture on Fabsugar of her with a CC Skye Onie Messenger bag…i literally googled it and bought one. I didn’t own any CC Skye bags so pretty much Olivia Palermo validated the purchase for me. She sold me on it.

NYC Winter Essentials

It’s a new year in New York and the winter chill is in full effect. [ SHOES ] Finding a designer wedge will keep you stylish and comfortable as you walk through the city and you can still have the height without the heels.

[ HANDBAG ] A great leather handbag that doesn’t scream logos so you don’t feel like you’re being stared down in the subway also helps. Make sure it’s large enough to carry an iPad but not too big that you regret carrying it into the dining room at Daniel.
